FOTD - Sunset

So, I did a quick FOTD this morning because I had the extra time. I was reading Cosmopolitan yesterday and they were writing about how all these beauty trends of Sunsets, The Tropics, Bright Colors, etc were coming into fashion, so I used a sunset as my inspiration.

Here is what I used:
Face/Foundation:
Mac Studio Tech - NW 30
Mac Mineralize SkinFinish Natural - Medium Dark
Bobbi Brown Creamy Concealer - Warm Beige
Bobbi Brown Loose Setting Powder - Pale Yellow (to offset the discoloration)
Benefit Lyin' Eyes - 02
Mac Bronzing Powder - Bronze
I applied my foundation with my 190 brush adn dusted the MSF over top with my 187 brush, which by the way I love, and I am obsessed with it. I think I am going to get the smaller version which is the 188.

Eyes:
Mac Paint Pot - Bare Study
Mac e/s - Passionate
Mac e/s - Goldmine
Cupcake Cult e/s - Purple (I randomly found this in my drawer... if it's yours, sorry. Let me know and Ill get it back to you!)
Too Faced Lava Gloss e/l
Imju Fiberwig Mascara - Black

Lips:
Mac Fafi - Fun N Sexy l/s
Mac Lipglass - Clear

When I come back from class I am going to write a review on a couple of things:
- Imju Fiberwig Mascara
- Bobbi Brown Creamy Concealer
- Perfume (that I wear, since I got a couple questions about that)
- Sonia Kashuk Cosmetic Brushes
- Mac C - Thru Lipglass
- The Body Shop Mascara

It's going to be a cosmetic review filled day, so check back in a few hours and hopefully I will have posted something.
<3 you guys!

Hey, just stumbled upon your blog. Nice makeup. Maybe you can answer a question for me... how can I keep my make up on?! I have super dry skin and moisturize plenty, but it still won't last. I use Bare Minerals makeup -which I love, but still doesn't stay on all day. And I'm just referring to my work-day, I certainly don't expect miracles.

And if you have any cool makeup tips for olive skin, let me know. I'd love to get more into applying my makeup. I barely wear it b/c I don't know much about it. LOL.

Talk to you soon,Christy.

Christy,
Thats a really good question. The best way to make sure your makeup stays put all day is to use a primer. I know that Bare Minerals has a primer called Prime Time, which is what I use all the time.
It is silicon based which means it makes your skin feel amazing.
I hope that helps, and thanks for reading!
